Henry Froats Jr. runs HydroTech Testing Services and NitroTech Rentals, an energy services company that puts crews and equipment on pipelines and facilities across the United States for hydrostatic testing, nitrogen services, and pigging. He is the kind of owner who, needing a field calculator that did not exist, built one and put it on the App Store. He has made payroll through downturns, sent crews out before dawn, and signed personally for the iron they drive.
That is why he asks the three questions the way he does. The first machine, the number, and truck three are not interview devices. They are the moments he has lived, and the ones he knows other builders remember.
He started The Industrial Capitalist on a simple observation: the country is building again, the people doing it are chronicled by outsiders when they are chronicled at all, and someone who has stood on the pad ought to keep the record.
