What we keep, and what we do not.
A short, plain statement of how this site handles your information. No legal fog.
What we collect
When you use a form on this site (the call for guests, the Assembly and membership requests, the contact form, or The Ledger signup) we receive what you type: typically your name, email address, company, and the message or details you choose to include. Nothing on this site asks for payment details or government identifiers.
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (the address a request came from, the page requested, the time, and the browser used) for security and performance. We do not run advertising trackers.
How it is used
Form submissions are emailed to the editorial desk and stored in the site’s own database so that nothing is lost if an email goes astray. We use them for exactly one purpose: to respond to you and to plan the program, whether that is an episode, a dinner, the Summit, the Energy Fifty, or membership. Signups to The Ledger are used to send The Ledger.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone outside The Industrial Capitalist and its publisher. Guest and nomination submissions are treated as confidential; a nominee is not told who nominated them.
When you submit a form you receive one confirmation email so that you have a record of what you sent. The Ledger is sent weekly to people who asked for it. Every issue carries a way to leave, and replying to any issue with the word “stop” also works.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The hosting platform may set a technical cookie to serve pages quickly. Nothing is used to follow you across other sites.

Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time. Write to the desk through the contact page and it will be handled by a person, promptly.
